BELMET d.o.o. is a joint-venture of the Byelorussian Steel Works (Zhlobin/Belarus) with local companies. The company was founded in 2017 with core business of trading with steel products. The company headquarter is located in Belgrade.
As a daughter company of the Byelorussian Steel Works, Belmet deals with the products of the Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ) products range. Our sales activities are focused on the domestic market and Balkan region.
Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ) consists of four main production facilities connected by a single processing chain, namely: steel melting, rolling, steel cord and wire production and pipe-rolling.
The plant also includes number of auxiliary divisions and an administrative division.
Steel-melting production includes a scrap preparation shop and two electric steel melting shops.
Rolling production consists of a section rolling shop, which includes three rolling mills with different profiles.
Steel cord and wire production is represented by three steel cord and wire shops, a powder metallurgy and die workshop, and a technological packing workshop.
Pipe-rolling production is located in a separate building with area of 40 thousand square meters.
The company’s infrastructure consists of maintenance and repair departments for power, electrical and mechanical equipment, a railway workshop, an automobile workshop and other auxiliary divisions.
The company invested more than 685,4 mln USD in technical upgrading, revamping and new construction over the recent five years (yearly at least 100 mln USD).
Steel products from BSW were delivered to 107 countries worldwide, i.e. Australia, Europe – 35 countries, North America -5 countries, South America – 3 countries, Middle East and Africa – 38 countries, Southeast Asia – 12 countries, CIS- 10 countries.

TECHNICAL SERVICE
Together with our colleagues from BMZ we also provide technical support on purchased material.
We also organize a visit and factory tour to production in Belorussia and meeting with our technical service team in order for better understanding production and all technological processes.
